Getting There

Travel By Air: Bhutan has just one Airline, the one and only DRUK AIR. Bhutan do not have any other airline operating in Bhutan. The One and Only International Airport in Bhutan is in Paro, so all your entry to Bhutan via air will be Paro. Paro is a beautiful valley DRUK AIR operates from the below sectors.
COUNTRY CITY
India Kolkata, Bagdogra, Delhi, Gaya & Mumbai
Nepal Kathmandu
Thailand Bangkok
Bangladesh Dhaka
Singapore Singapore

Bagdogra is well connected to the major cities of India by various airlines like Jetairways, Kingfisher Airlines, Spicejet, Go Air and Indian Airlines. One can take the connecting flight to Paro from Bagdogra.

Travel by Road: Travel to Bhutan can be made via Road too. All entry into Bhutan via Road has to be passing through India. Which means that all road entry points into Bhutan is from India.

There are basically three (3) road entry and exit points into Bhutan, and they are from the border towns of Phuentsholing,Gelephug and Samdrupjongkhar.

The nearest Indian Airport from these entry and exit points are Bagdogra (From Phuentsholing) and Guwahati (from Samdrupjongkhar).

Travel By Rail: NJP (New Jalpaiguri) is the nearest major railway station in the Indian State of West Bengal. The other smaller stations are Alipurduar, New Cooch Vihar and Hasimara though we recommend NJP as the convenient station for pick up/drop facilities and 04 hours drive to the nearest Bhutan border town of Phuentsholing.
